Have you ever burned food in your blender and couldn't figure it out? We had this problem after cooking Alfredo Sauce in our blender. We figured it out after a lot of trial & errors.
Remember the time she made almond butter in the Ace Plus Blender? It took her a while, but once she figured it out it was delicious!

WHAT TO EXPECT |
The weirdest thing about this recipe is that it's set for Soup2 which means the temp should get to 212, but the blender doesn't get hot with this recipe. We know that the Soup2 setting is working because the blender burned and we've used it in other things since filming the Bean Dip. We learned something new after filming this in regards to the Ace Plus Blender so we hope to remake the bean dip with the something new we learned to see if that helps the consistency. That video will come out on Wednesday along with the Taste Test. We're not including the specifics of what we used in this video since it didn't look right when it came out of the blender. However, this is the recipe we utilized in this video should you want to try it for yourself. https://recipes.instantpot.com/recipe/ace-plus-blender-warm-black-bean-dip/ BEHIND THE SCENES|
This video is a doozy. We cram a lot into 10 minutes. First there is the original taste test and some humor. Then, the bean dip is remade with a tid bit about the blender. Another taste test is completed. After this, we show two attempts (one works well) to clean a burned blender. Then as always the cut scenes. We had so much fun even though I wasn't feeling well for the recording of most of this video (which is why I'm behind the camera for most of it). BEHIND THE SCENES |
We utilized the same camera & sound as previous videos, but did not use Audacity to clean t his one up simply because we ran out of time. I did not feel well after I made the first batch (the time that the first taste test & first clean cycle was done) so it took a while to remake it and film. I tried to be "off camera" for as much as possible since I didn't feel well. I'm still not feeling great as of the typing of this so I am not putting as much information in the blog as normal. Please accept my sincerest apologizes for any mistakes this video may have as I simply couldn't sit up right long enough to go over all of the nuances of the video like typical. If I feel up to it later, I may add to this blog post. However, I wanted to get something up on the day the video premiered. Other behind the Scenes. Some of the video was filmed on October 23rd while the remake & retaste were made on November 7th. The video was put together on November 8th and finalized on the channel on November 11th the day it released. We found a Cauliflower Pizza by the Real Good Pizza Company. We were intrigued to find out if it would indeed taste yummy. WHAT TO EXPECT |
This pizza (in our opinion) was not good. The crust was soggy yet nearly burnt. We baked it as the instructions stated (on a pan) for the minimum amount and we had to pull it out with 50 seconds to go because it was burning. If possible, it got worse after we stopped eating. The aftertaste was not good. We do NOT recommend this pizza. As Mr. Like It Or Not (key emphasis on the not), this might be a good option for you if you can't eat gluten or grain crust. However, we did not enjoy this pizza. Ultimately, Mrs. Like It gave up after eating 3 small slices and Mr. Like It (OR rather NOT in this case) removed the cheese and pepperoni from the crust. The ingredients say there is sauce, but it was very hard to tell that there was any. The crust was slimy on the cheese side and very floppy. The edges of the crust burned so it couldn't have remained in the oven any longer. We really wanted to tolerate this pizza, but it simply wasn't good. BEHIND THE SCENES |
We tackle making Oat Milk In the first episode of the second season of the Ace Plus Blender Series. We use both Steel Cut Oats & Rolled Oats in the blender. A game for you guys is to count the number of time I use the word "gross." Can she make Oat milk? Let's find out. WHAT TO EXPECT |
INGREDIENTS & TOOLS |
Here is the deal. This was gross. It was so gross especially for someone that has texture issues. However, I pummeled through this just for our viewers. I have read since making it that if you use a different setting it might not turn out as slimy. I am not sure I'll be redoing the Oat Milk during Season 2 unless I run out prior to doing Battle of the Blenders. I have sense read two or three tips that I want to put to the test to see if I can reduce the sliminess of the oat milk. Stay tuned in a couple of weeks for that video. https://recipes.instantpot.com/recipe/ace-blender-oat-milk/ Behind the Scenes |
This video was filmed on October 18th and she edited it on October 22nd and 23rd. She uploaded it to YouTube to publish on November 2nd. She used TubeBuddy 95% for the thumbnail in this one. The background was selected from Canva, but that was all. Our footage was filmed using our Canva. We used the internal microphone from the camera as well as a Maono AU A425 Plus Microphone for voice overs. |
